T-10 Bermuda

T-10 is a truly unique turfgrass for high traffic, low maintenance athletic fields. It has a striking blue-green color and an extremely aggressive lateral growth habit that allows it to quickly recover from traffic. It is a coarser bladed bermuda grass and will show wear quicker than denser varieties such as TifSport or Tifway 419. However, T-10 has a much more aggressive lateral growth habit and will recover quicker from traffic than the slower growing, denser varieties. While it has very aggressive lateral growth, its upright growth is much slower than other varieties. This unique characteristic makes it ideally suited for low maintenance, high traffic, athletic fields found at many high schools and parks & recreation facilities. T-10 can also be maintained with a rotary mower at 1- 1.5 inches. If you have a limited budget and high traffic fields that will wear out regardless of what grass you put on them, you should strongly consider changing to T-10 bermuda grass.
