El Toro Zoysia

El Toro was developed at the University of California-Riverside and has been rated #1 in the National Turfgrass Evaluation Program for overall turf quality and drought tolerance. It has a unique upright growth habit that allows it to be mowed with a rotary-type mower making it easier to maintain than traditional zoysia grasses. It has a beautiful dark green color, performs well in the sun or shade, and maintains its green color well into the fall. It is an excellent choice for shaded tees and fairways.
