Patriot Bermuda

Patriot Bermuda grass was developed by Oklahoma State University and is the most cold tolerant variety of bermuda grass we have seen. It has a fine to medium width leaf texture and has a much more aggressive growth habit than Tifway 419 or TifSport. It can be mowed down to ½ inch mowing height and will recover from traffic faster due to it’s aggressive growth habit. Patriot Bermuda is ideally suited for the northern transition zone where the growing season is short as it will quickly fill in and recover. Patriot is ideally suited for those high traffic areas of the golf course such as driving range tees. If you are looking for an aggressive bermuda grass for your tees and fairways that will quickly recover from traffic, Patriot Bermuda grass is the perfect choice.
