Even though winter is just around the corner, it’s not quite time to put your feet up just yet! Spending a little bit of time at the end of the warm season to perform routine maintenance on your equipment, particularly mowers, is key to keeping them running for years to come.
Here are a few steps to winterizing your mower:

  • Remove fuel from the tank
  • Clean off all dust, grass and trimmings
  • Remove the mower battery
  • Disconnect the spark plug
  • Drain the oil
  • Store in a cool, dry place

Make sure you protect your investment by taking a little extra time for maintenance at the beginning of the new season. You’ll thank yourself for taking the time to prepare and store your mower properly when it is ready go to next spring!
