Stadium Zoysia™ is a premium, fine- to medium-textured zoysiagrass developed by Bladerunner Farms for high-performance turf applications. With an extensive root, rhizome, and stolon system, Stadium offers excellent heat and drought tolerance while maintaining strong turf density and recovery. Pedigree
Stadium Zoysia™ is a Zoysia matrella cultivar developed and released by Bladerunner Farms in Poteet, Texas. Bladerunner Farms has a long history of zoysiagrass breeding and cultivar development, including work with the extensive zoysiagrass collection established by turfgrass breeder Jack Murray. Stadium represents the company's newer generation of high-performance zoysiagrasses, selected for density, vigor, wear tolerance, and environmental resilience.

Best Management Practices
Sunlight Requirement: Stadium performs best in full sun but has excellent shade tolerance for a warm-season turfgrass.
Mowing: Recommended mowing height is approximately 0.5" to 2" for general turf applications. For sports turf and golf course applications, Stadium can be maintained as low as 0.25" with appropriate mowing equipment.
Fertility: Once established, Stadium requires less than 2 lbs. of nitrogen per 1,000 sq. ft. per year, applied in split applications. Fertility should be adjusted according to soil-test results and site conditions.
Watering: Stadium has excellent drought tolerance, but supplemental irrigation should be provided during prolonged periods of drought or when signs of water stress appear. Deep, infrequent irrigation encourages healthy root development.
Weed & Pest Control: Pre-emergence and post-emergence herbicides labeled for use on zoysiagrass can be used on Stadium. Always follow the product label for application rates, timing, and turf safety.
