What to do with those fresh grass clippings in your yard after an evening mow?
Just leave them there!
It’s called “grasscycling,” and it’s basically just taking advantage of the fast decomposition of grass clippings to bring nutrients back into the soil.
Grasscycling has multiple benefits. In addition to reducing landfill waste, the practice also saves you time since you won’t need to stop and bag the clippings every 15 minutes. Because of the nutrients that stay with the grass, you’ll have greener, healthier lawns.
So what should your mowing process look like if you want to start grasscycling? We’ll talk about that in our next post!
